Kevin Burke was born in Melbourne in 1940. The Burke family played a significant role in building St Michael's Church and in Ashburton, Victoria. Kevin Burke forged a successful career as a hotelier. The Catholic faith was an important part of Kevin Burke's life. It was his wish that an educational documentary be produced about the Catholic Church in Australia and the historical significance of Vatican II.

Established for over 12 years, X-Ray Vision have produced programs for some of Australia's most respected organisations in the areas of health, education and social services. This project has been made possible through the bequest from the Burke Family Trust.
